Black Day: MH17 Tragedy.
We could be closer, we became more different... An aircraft MH17 of Malaysia Airlines was shot down in the air of Novorussia. It flew from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur with a civilian mission. All 283 passengers and 15 crew on board were killed in a moment, when it was destroyed near Torez (it's about 31 miles from the Ukraine–Russia border). It was so terrible action! The world was shoked! And when the most people gave their farewell speeches with sincere condolences to the victims of the tragedy, somebody started a new political game. The inocent blood was converted into political funds.
Just in the same moment when the very first parts of Malaysian Boeing 777 touched the land, ukrainian authorities blamed Donbass People's Militia and published a very stupid audio tape. I really thought, that everyone, who has a clear mind and keeps his eyes open, could understand that it was a fake. On this tape a squad leader of people's militia told to his commander that his guys - cossacks and miners from the nearest roadblock - shot down the aircraft. What?! First of all, the Buk-M1 is a very complex system: it consists of several units like launcher, command vehicle, radar stations and so on. And nobody saw the whole system there. But it's impossible to shot down so high and fast target without radar station. If you ask a blind man to shoot an eagle between the clouds with a slingshot - he has the same chance. Without any radar unit the Buk is blind! Moreover, it's a crazy idea to set this system on a roadblock. I've never heared something more stupid! The second... To start and led the anti-air missile you need the command vehicle. Have you ever been inside this "car"? Once, long time ago I've got a chance to take a look... Try to imagine a small room with a great number of buttons, switches, indicators, keys and several displays - all of them are blinking, makeing sounds, moving, showing unknown information and all this madness needs your control. Immediately! No time to wait - air targets are very fast and if you lost some seconds, you will lose the target. If I were inside... i don't know what button should I press to launch the rocket. I'm sure, you too. And it's only the start! But task is not over. You need to led the missile, correcting the flight. And you need to know special codes. And you need to know... many other difficult things. As far as I know the soldiers of Russian army have to spend a lot of time and finish a special college to use the Buk system. And what about that audio tape? Cossaks and miners did it. Not proffessional military men, but cossaks and miners! So stupid! The next moment from the tape. The squad leader said, they thought it was a military jet. And only when it crashed, they understood it was not so. Because they found some toys! It's so weird! Civilian jets have other visual silhouette of an aircraft and other aircraft symbol on the display. You'll never mix the Boeing and SU-25/27 or MiG. And at last their size - they're too different! Even if you're a housekeeper and know just nothing about airplanes, you'll see this difference (but the housekeeper has no chance to launch Buk's missile as i told before). Let's see:
SU-24 Length (in meters): 24,594 m Wing (in meters): up to 17,638 m Height (in meters): about 13,1 m SU-25 Length (in meters): 15,36 m Wing (in meters): 14,36 m Height (in meters): 4,8 m SU-27 (some different versions) Length (in meters): 18,5 m up to 21,935 m Wing (in meters): 12,7 m up to 14,698 m Height (in meters): 5,2 m up to 6,537 m MiG 23 (some different versions) Length (in meters): 16,4 up to 16,7 m Wing (in meters): 7,78 up to 14,1 m Height (in meters): 4,8 up to 4,82 m MiG 29 Length (in meters): 17,32 m Wings (in meters): 11,36 m Height (in meters): 4,73 m Boeing 777-200ER (this model crashed near Torez) Length (in meters): 63,7 m Wing (in meters): 60,9 m Height (in meters): 18,5 m Even a child feels the difference! So I don't think, the guys who was able to launch the Buk's missile could mix these jets. As for me, the words "we shot down a Boeing instead of a military jet" on this tape sounds stupid. And the last but not least. That audio tape was published by SBU (ukrainian security service) just right in the next moment the aircraft has crashed. It looked like "separatists" called to SBU and asked to record their conversation. No time to interception, no time to decode and recover needed. It's unbelievable! And it looks like the tape was already prepared for a tragedy. When all other people tried to understand what has happened, SBU said "we know, that separatists did it". No visiting crash site, no investigation, no expert report - but "guilty persons" were set immediately. To blame somebody in so serious things without proofs - I think, it's a stupid idea. Someone's death is always tragedy. And it's enough reason to stop and to think about the value of human's life. This terrible tragedy could make our people - citizens of EU and people of Novorussia - a little bit closer. We know the sorrow of losses. Every day we have our "small MH17". And nobody cares! This moment we had a chance to stand together and say: "Stop this stupid war!" But... it seems, it was not interesting. They started to finger each other, shouting "you must pay for that", but didn't do something to prevent the repetition. Noone said "Enough! Stop killing civilian people - locals of Donbass.". They demanded to punish the so called "murders", but they didn't demand an investigation. It meant the only one thing - they didn't want to know the truth, they wanted a "gibbet law". And it meant they want an escalation of war on the our land. Their magazines published colorful pictures with hash-tag #MH17 and titles "Putin murdered our people. Donbass locals are killers", their media told false stories about "wild cossacks" and nobody wanted to know the real things. This terrible tragedy could make us closer, but as a result, it made us so very different. We're still remember about your tragedy of MH17. Do you remember about our daily "small MH17"?
